Dr. Gareth Doherty

Dr. Gareth Doherty M.S.M, is a strategic management expert with applied research and consultation experience from academia, private, and public sector organizations. He is a Meritorious Service Medal recipient (civil division) for his strategic work leading a health and wellness strategy as a civil servant in the Canadian Department of National Defence.  He obtained his Ph.D. in philosophy and cognitive science from Western University and has 20+  years of research experience exploring topics at the intersection of social and cross-cultural differences in cognition, social cognition, the psychology of reasoning and decision making, artificial intelligence, and the foundations of cognitive science. His work in cognitive security is a fusion of passion for cognitive science and interest in security organizations.
